A love of alfresco cooking and a fascination with the design of the traditional Greek Cypriot BBQ led Alistair to draw up the first designs for the Rozza. We are a typical British family with the normal constraints of a busy home with kids and a budget when it comes to eating out. We wanted to enjoy delicious slow-cooked cuts of meat that used to be savoured by previous generations as well as juicy family favourites like chicken wings and pork belly without feeling like we would be hit with an eye-watering bill at the end of a family meal. The Rozza needed to be sturdy, portable, hygienic, safe and utilitarian without compromising on an eye-catching design that would sit well within the outdoor kitchen settings growing in popularity.
